The biofilter then processes effluent by placing all solid particles on the membrance and with the help of earthworm - faetida, all toxic substances are consumed. effluent passed on to the aeration sump where large volumes of oxygen are introduced and ths continues to the aeration tanls passing through ozonation. further killing of all emerging polutants is carriedaout at the UVs where exessive sterilization takes place before discharging to existing water bodies or harveting for irrigation purposes. Such effluent is given a certificate of discharge by EMA upon reaching the Non hazardious stage.
